The designer Sigrid Wylach created in 1974 for Knoll International Germany the carpet White Flower as a match for the famous seating ensemble by Eero Saarinen. The round shape of the table with its characteristic trumpet foot was used as a design element. In the seventies Knoll International set new standards for interior decorating. Stylish well balanced furnishing was supposed to be possible for everyone with the sophisticated furniture programme of the house of Knoll. Exclusive fabric collections were created which consisted of carpets, curtain fabrics or furniture coverings.
